Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor physiotherapy

The goal of Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is to improve pelvic floor function through exercises, lifestyle modifications, education and hands on treatment to decrease and eliminate your symptoms. This therapy involves assessing and treating a group of muscles that are involved with urinary, bowel, and sexual function. If these muscles aren’t functioning properly this can lead to symptoms such as incontinence, increased urgency and/or frequency, retention (not being able to empty your bladder or bowels), and pelvic pain.

            • Urinary urgency
            • Dropped bladder
            • Chronic pelvic pain
            • Postpartum pain
            • Painful intercourse

At Town Health Solutions, we believe that children get the most out of their rehab when they are engaged, challenged and most importantly having fun!! Our Pediatric Physiotherapy strives to improve and enhance your child’s development and physical functioning through creative and engaging exercises, which may look like a lot of fun and play. Our therapists use their neurological, orthopaedic and developmental skills to help reach their functional goals. We believe in “family centered care” and that rehab continues in the home as well. We will work with parents and caregivers so they can continue doing rehab in their home to further help their child grow and reach their full potential.

Naturopathic Medicine

Dr. Celeste Vail, ND provides Naturopathic medicine to the people of Saint John, Hampton, St. Stephen, and Woodstock.

Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of primary care that addresses the root cause of illness or disease and promotes health and healing using natural therapies. Naturopathic doctors are specially trained in disease prevention and thereby are able to provide education to individuals about how to achieve optimal health and wellness. Naturopathic Medicine is the oldest form of effective medicine, which can be dated back hundreds of years. The appearance of symptoms in the body during a diseased condition is simply a signal that there is something wrong within the body due to improper diet, nutritional deficiencies, environmental factors, toxicities, injury and stress, to merely name a few examples. Naturopaths place an emphasis on allowing the body to heal itself while using methods and medicines that minimize the risk of harmful side effects. Our Naturopathic Doctors at Health Bound integrate standard medical diagnostics with a broad range of natural therapies and provide individualized treatment that includes the consideration of the physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental and social factors therefore regarding the person as a whole.
